You speak more than one language, that's more than me! I don't get range attack because I'm not relying on the ravager's normal attack for damage. It's somewhere in between a slow roach and a faster hydra, but really I want ravagers more for the bile and tanking. Yeah my creep spread sucked this game. I don't play this style a lot and it's a lot more micro-intensive than other styles.

It's just rapid fire and maybe moving the ravagers forward first so they're in range to cast bile, otherwise the command is delayed until they walk in range.

I can't log into sc2 to see if the game was actually a tie, I did get a victory screen. Now that I watch from his POV again, I see that he was looking at my base through the fog of war twice! It also explains why his play was so poor, most cheaters don't understand the game enough to play it well. I mean this motherfucker was overcharging void rays against queens and hydras which does nothing except make your void rays move slower.

Yeah I'm messing with my audio trying to get it right. By default my voice is too low. Turning down the game sound helps but then the overall audio is very low. In this video I'm using upward compression to boost my voice up and turn down the game sound when mic sound is picked up. The problem is that it's not just my voice that's picked up by the mic, it's also my keyboard and every little sound I make with my nose and throat. Sounds like I ate the microphone sometimes lol. Hopefully I'll be able to improve it soon.

You might have skipped past the beginning of the video (which is fine, I do too), but this guy asked for a free win to get out of diamond and I told him I'd do a stupid build for him. So yeah I saw Scarlett do this against Future in ESL, on the same map even. Standard early game but then instead of getting melee upgrades you get range and build mass hydra and only add in banes in the late game after hive. That being said banelings do suck, they do less damage and have less hp.

Yeah that's probably true. Instead I think I made drones during this, it took me a long time to get that pool up but I knew I was safe from everything since he had to start his tech from scratch.

I don't use AI, I tried a noise suppression thing once and it sounded absolutely awful. There is no noise suppression which is why you hear my keyboard so clearly. I'm using a bunch of upward compression which makes my mumbling voice audible over the game sound, which it turns down. This has the unwanted side effect of also boosting noise to be audible, such as my keyboard and breathing.

Xorg, the only reason being that I use pyautogui and autokey which both don't support Wayland yet. I like the idea of Wayland and will switch when I can use these 2 things or something like them.

Oh and xorg sucks because all your monitors run at the refresh rate of the lowest monitor. My main monitor can do 120hz but it's currently limited to 60 because of my cheap extra monitors.

I've been meaning to practice the 17/17 macro build, I only memorized the first half of it. That being said I'm pretty comfortable going hatch first against random, I think it's the best thing to do.

@@Kevin-lw1yu yeah I was really trying to throw with my awful first max out attack haha. Luckily he never wanted to fight with his BCs because of the corruptors and that allowed me to piss down his 4th.

Just kinda winging it honestly. I figure I can defend 3 bases from one opening, so if I make a spine and pump queens I'll be fine. My defense was pretty sloppy at times, like when I got baited into walking queens down the ramp and letting the lings in, but as you can see from the replay I was ahead in drones most of the time. I think I was a bit greedy to take the third before the pool was done, but it worked out ok with the gold boosting my minerals. Usually you want to at least have queen 3 & 4 on the way before taking a third.

Yeah I'm aware of the problem and trying to find some kind of a solution. The problem is that both my mic is kind of low compared to the game sound and that I mumble when I'm talking to myself like this. I have the game set to like 40% I think and my mic is maxed. The other problem is that if I start talking loudly it's way too loud and harsh. I want to look into a voice attenuation feature for OBS, I think that would be best. That would mean that the game volume is turned down automatically when I start talking and then turned back up when I'm not

Dude I just spent a half hour learning and messing with my audio and it sounds so much better now! I have my voice boosted with upward compression and I have my mic set as a ducking source for my game audio out. Let me know what you think! The changes will only be present in videos uploaded after the today (the 10th) of course.
